Thursday Long Run #1 & Cap Launch

Thursday Long Run #1 & Cap Launch

Making the most of the good - but short lived - weather in Edinburgh last week, we set off for our first 10km, in collaboration with BLANK. Training Club.

The event also seen the anticipated launch of our new running caps, in collaboration with Attain, the world's only non-profit cap organisation who's proceeds go towards helping prevent suicide.

Our first TLR saw us meet at SMI before setting off towards a sunny Edinburgh New Town route, which saw us head along Queen Street, then London Road before making a sharp turn towards a picturesque Arthurs' Seat in all it's glory. We then headed towards the Pleasance before making a turn towards a busy Meadows (this made everyone slightly jealous and eager to finish the next 2km back to the shop for some post-run Jubel's). The sun began to set immediately as we came down the Mound, after weaving between flocks of tourists on George IV Bridge, which made the hard work worth it as the finish line was now in sight.

As always it was back to SMI for some social, sunset beers and a chance to grab one of our new caps.

See some shots from the run below - enjoy!
